Spring issue of SCAN Magazine
Some of youse have been wondering what I’ve been up to lately. Well, school has been kicking my ass but I’ve learned a lot more about photography than I’d anticipated. Not just technique (there is a lot of that, but that’s the least of it really) but in ways of seeing photography and evaluating imagery.
Also (importantly), understanding art. Deconstructing it. Analyzing it. Synthesizing it. Becoming more informed on it.
One would think that this would mean I’d have to let my filthy erotica fall by the wayside in the process but much to my surprise they (the faculty, student media and to a lesser extent, the administration) actually encourage me to shoot it. DO THEY REALIZE THAT THEY’RE ENABLING ME?! I guess not. Too late though.
